Retrieve archives from your Glacier Vault and save them in your S3 bucket. This service uses your previous Glacier Inventory listing and allows you to choose an archive and the destination in your S3 bucket. This service operates in the cloud and will email you when it completes.
Use this Glacier Vault Archive Retrieval service to select an archive from your vault inventory,
enter your destination S3 bucket and optional folder, optionally choose whether to make the retrieved
archive publicly accessible. Modify the destination file name or accept the default name from the vault.
Then start the service to retrieve your archive and save into your location.
Archive retrieval may take 4 hours or more to complete, and we'll email you when the retrieval is complete.
After you enter your vault name and region, click the load inventory button to display a list of archives to select. The archive list shows the last inventory for the vault and region entered. If no inventory items are displayed either change the vault name or region or run the Glacier Vault Inventory Listing Service.
When you Sign In and click the Begin Now link you'll be taken to a form where you should enter the following required information in the fields:
After you have entered the above information, click Load Inventory, and select an archive from the inventory listing. The Inventory from last 90 days for the vault name, region, and keys specified above. Select the archive that you wish to retrieve. If an inventory is not found, run the Glacier Vault Inventory Listing Service. Then enter the following information:
After you have entered the above information, click Verify to validate your entries. Next click Pay Now to authorize the transaction and begin the service.
After clicking Pay Now, you'll get an email receipt confirming the transaction that your service has started. The actual time to retrieve the archive depends on the Amazon Glacier Vault retrieval service and the time to download and save your file. When the listing has completed you'll get a confirmation email that contains a hyperlink to your archive. You may then use the hyperlink or S3 Console to download your archive, share the link, or use the CloudZip unzip service to expand the archive, etc.

Use the Glacier Vault Inventory Listing Service by CloudZip to get an inventory of your vault. After you generate a vault inventory you can use the listing to select archives for retrieval.
