Copy FTP site content into the same or different FTP Site
No limits on the number of files copied, recursively copies your whole FTP site to another FTP location.
This service does not use your local bandwidth during the copy.
How do I copy FTP site content into the same or different FTP site ?
Use CloudZip to copy your FTP site, or just a folder, into another FTP site.
Creates all destination files and folders as needed. When you Sign In and click the
Begin Now link you'll be taken to a form where you should enter the following
information in the fields:
Source FTP Site Domain Name -
enter your FTP Site domain name that contains the content to copy.
This is the domain that hosts your ftp site (e.g. ftp.mysite.com ).
The content from this FTP site will be copied to the S3 bucket destination listed above.
Source FTP Site Path - enter an optional source folder path within the site above.
This is the path to a sub-folder that contains content to copy (e.g. /updates/bigfiles ).
Any files and folders contained in the FTP site, including this path,
will be created in the destination as needed.
If you leave this field blank, the entire FTP site will be copied.
Source FTP Site User Name -
enter your user name for the source site domain above (e.g. admin_user ).
The user must have read permissions for the content you intend to copy.
Source FTP Site Password - enter your password for the user name and site above.
Target FTP Site Domain Name -
enter your Target FTP Site domain name that is the destination for the source content.
This is the domain that hosts your other, or same, ftp site (e.g. ftp.myarchive.com ).
The content from this FTP site will be copied to the S3 bucket destination listed above.
Target FTP Site Path - enter an optional target folder path within the site above.
This is the path to a sub-folder that will contain the content after it is copied (e.g. /files/2013august ).
If you leave this field blank, the source content will be copied to the
root folder of the target FTP site.
Target FTP Site User Name -
enter your user name for the target site domain above (e.g. admin_user ).
The user must have write permissions for the site. If the source and target sites are the same,
the FTP server must allow 2 or more concurrent connections for this user
Target FTP Site Password - enter your password for the user
name and target site above.
After you have entered the above information, click Verify to validate your entries.
Next click Pay Now to authorize the transaction and begin the service.
After clicking Pay Now, you'll get an email receipt confirming
that your service has started. The actual time to copy your FTP site and generate
the file listing depends on the size of the content and the number of items
and folders. When the service has completed you'll get a confirmation
email that contains a hyperlink to your listing. You may then download a copy of your
listing, share the link, etc.
